Howdy Modi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump met at an Indian-American rally in Houston, Texas, as their nations negotiate for easing trade tensions.
Modi said Trump told him during their first meeting that India has a “true friend” in the White House, and the US leader’s presence at the event is proof of that. He also said he admired Trump’s “sense of leadership” and taking ties between the two nations to a new level. Trump said he was India's "best friend in the White House ever".
